Local 37 is in need of Certified Crane and forklift operators for the upcoming outage at the Calvert Cliffs Nuclear station in Calvert County Maryland.

The outage starts January 17th and should run approximately 30 days. Qualifications needed: OSHA 10, Forklift Certification, NCCO Certified on Mobile and Overhead.

Crane rate $32.74

Forklift rate $28.18

Benefit package $12.97

Project is scheduled to work two 12 hour shifts 6 or 7 days/wk.

IUOE Local 474 is in need of overhead and hydraulic crane operators for the Plant Hatch and Plant Vogtle outages, located in Baxely and Waynesboro, Georgia. Plant Hatch will shut down first for an (18) eighteen-day outage and Vogtle will follow immediately with a (25) twenty-five day outage. All workers would be considered utility operators and expected to run forklifts also as needed.

Day & Zimmermann is the General Contractor and Atlantic Plant Maintenance (APM) will be servicing the turbine. Both contractors have worked with us in the past to try and insure to the best of their and our ability, that we move as many as possible from one outage to the other.

Also any dirt hands may wish to contact us concerning Plant Vogtle as NEC has been doing cooling tower work in the last few outages.

The wage rates for the Nuclear Plants is $27.35 with $13.33 in fringe benefits.

The health & welfare can be reciprocated.
